Relive the magic of Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s ultimate feel-good anthems with the stunning pink repress of Songs From The Kitchen Disco: Greatest Hits. Originally released to capture the energy of her viral lockdown "Kitchen Disco" sessions, this LP has become a defining soundtrack of resilience, joy, and pure pop escapism. Now back by popular demand, the pink edition of this collection is a must-have for fans old and new, especially following Sophie's massive resurgence in late 2023, when her hit Murder on the Dancefloor took the internet by storm, going viral and climbing back to the top of the charts, while also cementing her place as a dancefloor icon for a new generation.
This vibrant LP features 6 Top 10 hits, including Take Me Home and Murder on the Dancefloor, along with her electrifying cover of Crying at the Discotheque, all of which fueled the frenzy of her beloved Kitchen Disco livestreams. Described as "a shimmering slice of joy" (The Guardian) and "the perfect pop party" (The Independent), this collection is packed with the songs that helped Sophie bring light and sequinned glamour into homes across the world during lockdown.
With Sophie’s infectious spirit and anthems that sparkle with disco-infused brilliance, this pink vinyl repress promises to reignite those moments of communal catharsis. From glittering pop hooks to timeless dance classics, Songs From The Kitchen Disco is more than just an album—it’s an invitation to let loose, dance, and embrace the joy that Sophie continues to bring to every corner of the dancefloor.
This limited-edition repress is not only a celebration of Sophie’s greatest hits but a testament to the enduring power of pop music.
