Description
Great organ-drenched garage psych rock on the West Michigan Phantasm label IN A PICTURE SLEEVE! The Soul Benders do the song Hey Joe. Although this is on Phantasm, it was recorded at the Fenton studios and falls into the Fenton Records numbering system. At the time, some of the bands, just wanted to make up their own label name, as Aris did with both Soul Benders and Phlegethon releases. The other side is the song I Can't Believe In Love. It is a U.S. release on Phantasm Records (2530). The vinyl is a solid VG++ or better, with full gloss. The label is VG+ with very minor wear and no stickers or BB hole. It does have ":10" and "4:12 Time" written on the Hey Joe side. The picture sleeve is VG+ with no tears, split seams, holes or stickers. Just minor ring wear and wear on edges. The only writing is the autographs of band members Aris Hampers, Jeff Boughner and Pete Smith on the back cover (see picture). This is the Soulbenders first single from 1967! This does not come up for auction very often and is a West Michigan garage classic, so have fun bidding. This is a very clean copy! I'm starting it at a low minimum bid and no reserve!
