Description
Rare original Pressing on Tee Pee Records from The Enchanters. If you are looking for a perfect copy this is NOT the one. Both sides play all the way through with no skips or sticking but the record does have issues. On the side with the song "On a Little Island there is a 1/2 inch mark that looks like an X and you can hear some clicks. I was surprised that they did not sound louder, the clicks are there but I have heard worse. There is also some surface noise and other lighter markings on this side of the record. All in all "On a Little Island" sounds better than it looks but still has issues as I described. It sounds like a 45 record that has been played a lot. One the other side, the song "There's a look about you" it looks and sounds much better, there is some surface noise and a few light clicks at the end of the song. It is hard to grade this one but using the Goldmine Standard I give the side with "On a Little Island" a good and on the side with the song "There's a look about you" I give a good plus. I try to grade the best I can. Like I said this is not a perfect copy but both sides play all the way through and it is still very listenable, I tracked the record on a very good turntable with the tracking weight at a little over a gram, I listened to the record on a pair of Koss Pro 4 AA headphones so I listened very close. If you have one of those record cleaners you might be able to clean this one up a little.... I usually only sell records that a vg++ or better but I know this is a record that people would love to add to their collection and original copies seldom come up for auction. .....................See my feedback,
