Funk/Rare Groove
Side 1. Sharon Revoal - Reaching For Our Star Side 2. Swan Silvertones - If You Believe Your God Is Dead (Try Mine)
Extremely limited Mukatsuku boxset. Only 20 for the world!
Two stormers from Mukatsuku Records as we present two absolute killers & rare classics on one 45. Sharon Revoal's "Reaching For Our Star" is a big tune with Gilles Peterson, Sam Floating Points and 4 Tet is a sultry soulful yet funky masterpiece with slow mo disco overtones that originally surfaced for Forte Records around 1980.
On the flipside surely one of the funkiest gospel funk 45's to come out of the early 70's from The Swan Silvertones that originally surfaced out on the US label HOB.
Boxset edition comes with Mukatsuku record in hand stamped kraft paper sleeve, Mukatsuku branded card sleeve + plastic outer sleeve,Mukatsuku Acrylic engraved clear keyring, Mukatsuku 38mm badge,Mukatsuku sticker,Mukatsuku Fridge magnet,Mukatsuku drinks coaster, Mukatsuku slipmat, signed insert. One for the collectors!
