Sound of Music Original Vintage Vinyl Record Movie Soundtrack Recording LSOD-2005
Classic movie soundtrack to The Sound of Music. An original pressing from 1965 with a cool insert of an article written by Judith Crist on the songwriters Rogers and Hammerstein's beloved musical. Also with highlights of the soundtrack with pictures. Comes with the original protective sleeve. This album is in very good shape, with many more hours of listening enjoyment for your pleasure. It has been properly stored and protected lo these many years. I inherited a stack of albums from my great aunt Petunia, as she was moving from her house to a smaller apartment, and just didn't have the room. I no longer have a record player, and think it is a shame to just let these albums sit and not be heard. So I am putting them up for sale for someone who really appreciates the sound of classic vintage vinyl to one of the greatest musicals of all time. So if you want a little piece of movie magic history, do not hesitate to own this classic, in its original intended form. So put the needle on the record and let Julie Andrews beautiful voice wash over you as she sings those timeless songs about 'Something Good', 'So Long, Farewell', and 'Do-Re-Mi', and of course, the title song! If you love the music and this movie, then you will not regret owning this little piece of Hollywood magic!
