Hunted Down / Nothing to Say
Sub Pop SP12a, released June 1987
The first Sub Pop 7". 500 copies were made on blue vinyl with a blue paper sleeve. I purchased this from a reputable record store in Lincoln UK 12 years ago and believe it is a genuine copy
I have taken the photos in this listing and they are of the actual item for sale;
· Clear Blue vinyl with no marbling.
· Blue paper sleeve.
· Matrix codes in trail-off wax: R10866 and R10867
I am not a record dealer or avid record collector so have no experience grading vinyl. I would consider the grade of the vinyl to be excellent; the record shows some minor signs of having been played with only light surface scratches. I have only played this once when I bought it twelve years ago, and it sounded good. If poor is 1, and mint is 10; I would say this is 7.5 The sleeve is good. There are no creases or splits but there is a faint mark from a price sticker as seen in the bottom right hand corner of the last photo. There is a little wear to the edges of the sleeve.
“Hunted Down"/"Nothing to Say" was the very first single that Soundgarden released, issued as a limited edition (500 copies) blue vinyl 7" packaged in a plain blue sleeve in 1987. It has since become one of the most valued Soundgarden treasures.
