WELCOME! I Work in a record store in Austin, Texas and I am going to be selling off some of my collection, I am starting off small, but I do have all positive feedback for records and other items, including some pricey heavy hitters and no complaints thus far thankfully. This week I'm offering a lot of RARE and OBSCURE records from all sorts of genres, mostly private press stuff, like boogie funk psych soul folk xian weird etc..

For auction is: Sounds of Salvation - ...to better spread the word of God . LP on Custom Records LP-117 . Tyler, TX .  Signed by all the band very neatly, with their favorite scripture written beside the signatures.

Lead by Reuben Ben Sample, who writes a few of the songs on the LP, which are definitely the best songs on the LP, (you can hear them in the soundclip) The rest of the members mainly fill in on the A side which is a lot less spectacular and is more standard country folk gospel stuff, but the B side is pretty much all Reuben doing his loner folk lofi thing with some really nice guitar work and deep Xian vocals, a very personal venture. I included clips of 4 of the 5 tracks from the Bside above.  I've never seen any info on this record and I know it was a very small pressing, all hand signed. Hope you enjoy it.

Vinyl: Strong VG ,  ( There are quite a few hairline scratches, none are very deep but there are a lot on both sides, most are very light with a couple a bit more moderate level. This causes some audible crackling in differing frequency in a few places in the LP, But it plays much better than it looks.  The vinyl is a very nice thick pressing with pretty deep grooves so the light scratches don't affect the play very much, the vast majority sounds VG+ to VG++.)  ^Listen to Sound Clip

Jacket/Label: Strong VG  (Jacket is in pretty nice shape but has some general wear and a few discoloration stain spots, most are pretty small though, there is some mild corner wear and a small beginning of a split on the the top seam, hasn't yet though, the label is excellent, I'd almost go with a VG+ grade but conservatively its a VG)
