DAUGHTERS OF THE TEMPLE - Maka Bongwe/U Vukile Envee NV3524 1968 E+ An interesting attempt to 'modernise' African religious music: 'old school' male lead with female backing singers accompanied by an electric guitar, electric bass and traditional drumming. (Also, a very late pressing on a 78.)
