Description
GOLDEN CITY EIGHT Cook Dladla/E Thwathwa South African Phillips SB50 1956 E+ Eddie Williams from Alexandra led an African jazz band that recorded for numerous labels - the line-up here sounds like three saxes, three brass, piano, guitar, bass and drums - lots of call and response between the reeds and brass and Williams solos on tenor sax
BIDDERS PLEASE READ! These records must be shipped from South Africa so eBay's standard $4.00 postal rate applicable to internal North American shipments does not apply. (The eBay template requires that a shipping fee of no more than $4.00 be entered so I have complied, but common sense should tell you that it costs more to ship a record 10,000 miles from the southern end of the African continent to, say, Chicago than it will from Des Moines.) SO, DO NOT SEND MONEY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN INVOICE REFLECTING THE ACTUAL COST OF POSTAGE ! I can ship to any location from Albania to Zimbabwe.
