Description
My Dad gave me a lot of his original records from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s he has quite a lot of very cool stuff, very varied and collectable, all great taste of which I am in the process of going through at the moment so please save me as a seller and keep your eyes peeled as I’m putting them all up over the next few weeks and months. Thank you! And lucky bidding n buying.....
Here we have an absolutely lovely copy of “Sound of Confusion” the classic 1st Album from the cult band Spacemen 3. This is a 1st Press Fire Vinyl REFIRE5 with the original Glass Matrix scratched out. Whether this is a Glass copy reclaimed by Fire records or from the original Glass masters I’m not sure - I have tried to research it but couldn’t find out any more info! But it sure does sound having it, heavy and penetrating. It plays excellent to mint but wanted to grade it at VG+ as I wanted to be conservative. It’s mastered by the legend George Peckham and has the ‘PORKY PRIME CUT’ inscription in the dead wax along with the inscription ‘IT’S RREAL’ on the A side and ‘I FEEL ALRIGHT’ on the B side.
Condition is Used. The condition of the record is VG+++ it plays sweetly and the labels are great. The cover is very good also I would say excellent except for a tiny nick on the opening side at the front (see last pic above). All in all a great sounding and looking classic pressing of this cult album!
Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
I am no expert but have tried to be as honest as possible - if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Cheers Misty Bird x
