Description

Five of Sparks' first 8 albums.  All are unplayed and three are promo lps.
1.  Kimono My House, 1974 - Not pristine & not a promo -- please see photos #2 & #3.  Album jacket was notched by distributor before given to radio stations.  Front and back jacket show light creases.  There is a flaw in the run-off vinyl on Side A that extends to the final track on that side.  Debated whether to include this one since it does not meet my standards.  I valued it at 0 when I priced the set.   2.  Propaganda, 1974 - Back to pristine (or almost) with this promo lp, sticker on back, "Promotional Record for Broadcast & Review NOT FOR SALE."  Original dust jacket with band's photo.  Regular Island Records palm tree label.  V-e-r-y slight edge wear on upper & lower left corner of front jacket only -- please see photo #4.
3.  Indiscreet, 1975 - Not a promo.  Upper right corner of jacket was clipped before being given to the radio station.  Very light ring wear on front & back of jacket -- see photos #6 & #7.  Gatefold completely clean.  Black Island label.   4.  Introducing Sparks, 1977 - Red vinyl, white label Columbia Records promo with gold-stamp, "Demonstration NOT FOR SALE" on jacket.  The Russell side of the jacket is perfect.  The Ron side has light wear on left edge -- see photo #9.  Original illustrated dust jacket with lyrics.

5.  No. 1 in Heaven, 1979  - Elektra promo sticker on front of jacket in nearly perfect condition.  Original illustrated dust jacket with lyrics.  White Elektra promo label.
Prefer to sell as a set, but will consider offers for individual LPs except Kimono My House.
Shipping to U.S. only via Media Mail with signature required.  Local pick-up in L.A. possible.
More about the collection:   All albums in this and my other listings are from my personal collection dating back to a long-ago career in rock radio.  Record sales are not my livelihood, so rather than attempt to grade them using a system in which I have no expertise, I prefer to let the photos and my honest, conservative descriptions tell the story.  If they're described as unplayed, it's because I never played them and there've been no other owners.
