Sparrow's Troubadour
Hot & Sweet Vol. 1
RA 2022 (Trinidad/Barbados)
Extremely rare Trinidad jazz funk lp with the monster breakbeat version of “Soulful Strut” and the killer jazz funk tune “For My Sake”. The jacket says "printed in Trinidad". The record label says "A Recording Artists Production Trinidad" and "Made In Barbados". As you can see from the scan, the jacket does show some wear. There is ring wear, general wear and wear on the edges. The back has similar wear with a few brown spot stains. All spines are in tact. The front has a price sticker on the upper right. The back has a sticker lower right that says "Manufactured Under Carifta Regulations". The record label is in EX shape, yellow with black print, as you can see in the scan. I would rate the record at VG. When held up to bright light, it does show marks and scratches. I didn't find that when I played it that it dominated the sound at all. Most noise was heard between songs or on a quieter spots. This is a record that can be enjoyed. This is one you don't see out there a lot. Record will be mailed in custom LP mailer.
