Description
This is part of a big auction of mainly Specialty Records 7" 45's. Specialty recorded many great artists in the blues, R&B & gospel genres among others. All of those will be represented. There will also be a nice selection of rare bonus listings.

Release: Mercy Dee / Mercy Dee and Lady Fox - Dark Muddy Bottom / Get to Gettin'
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1954
Notes: White & yellow label first pressing. Later single by Dee (who's real last name was Walton), who only released a handful of records in the early-to-mid 50's. More blues than R&B here, with a stellar piano intro to Dark. Mercy was from Texas and you can hear the southern blues style.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels are nice with original gloss, no tearing/stickers. This is a really nice copy overall.
