Description
This is part of a big auction of mainly Specialty Records 7" 45's. Specialty recorded many great artists in the blues, R&B & gospel genres among others. All of those will be represented. There will also be a nice selection of rare bonus listings.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Roy Milton with the Meltones & His Band - How Can I Live Without You / Roy Milton & His Band - Tell It Like it Is
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1955
Notes: White & yellow label first pressing. Early single by Melton on Specialty and, oddly, the only record credited to "The Meltones". MIlton moved from Oklahoma to California during the depression and started playing in bands. This record is more of a jump blues with some great sax.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all, just a couple of tiny surface scuffs. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels are nice with original gloss, no tearing/stickers. There is some light ring wear. This is a nice copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: VG, has some light wrinkles and some discoloring on the left, but no tears or splits. A small pencil number on the back, but nice shape overall.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
