Description

This is part of a big auction of mainly Specialty Records 7" 45's. Specialty recorded many great artists in the blues, R&B & gospel genres among others. All of those will be represented. There will also be a nice selection of rare bonus listings.

Release: Clifton Chenier - Think It Over / The Things I Did For You

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1958


Notes: White & yellow label first pressing. Early single by Chenier, who was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2011. This is a zydeco-leaning R&B record with great little back beat and lots of accordion. A nice mix of musical styles. 


Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice with original gloss, no tearing/stickers. This is a top notch copy overall.


Sleeve Condition: VG, original company sleeve has some wear and wrinkling, but no tears or splits and no writing. Nice shape overall.
