Spies Like Us & The Untouchables vintage vinyl LP Soundtracks 1985 & 1987 NMint:
This is a listing for a lot of 2 vintage soundtrack albums for Spies Like Us & The Untouchables. Spies Like Us (1985, Varese Sarabande) is another of many collaborations between filmmaker John Landis & old school composer Elmer Bernstein. The music is not the kind of tracks you typically hear in comedies but straight-forward and dramatic as Landis always told Bernstein to conduct his soundtracks as if the film was a drama which was a truly ingenious idea. This is very evident is the main title ("The Ace Tomato Company"). The Untouchables (1987, A&M Records) soundtrack by legendary composer Ennio Morricone provided plenty of uncharacteristic devices the composer is known for and through-and-through this IS the greatest gangster record ever! Hard driving and dramatic. Both records in great shape, this duo is for the soundtrack maniac! Ships in an LP cardboard box with plenty of bubble wrap.
