Original UK Island bulls eye label stereo issue LP.
Following the dissolution of UK band Art, the members of that band's final line-up (guitarist Luther Grovesnor, vocalist Mike Harrison, drummer Mike Kellie and bassist Greg Ridley) joined forces with American keyboardist/vocalist Gary Wright in October 1967 and formed Spooky Tooth. Wright was introduced to the members of Art by Chris Blackwell, founder of Island Records. With the original Island bulls eye label and earliest hand etched A- B- matrix numbers!
  The E. J. Day Group fully laminated sleeve is in EX condition, with some very light laminate rubbing/corner wear and a couple of original laminate wrinkles from poor sleeve production on the front cover. The spine is intact and fully readable and the plain inner is intact & in EX condition.

The record is in visually EX condition with some evidence of being played, including a couple of sleeve removal hairlines and one or two light needle marks on each side that do not affect play. The labels are clean & bright, in EX condition, with evidence of a few spindle markings. Overall the record still retains all its original sheen and looks great!

The sound reproduction is EX, clear & vibrant throughout with no loud pops, crackle or hiss & definately no skips, sticks or jumps on either side, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & clear listen!   The matrix nos. are ILP-ST-SC, A- mother stamper ? ILP-ST, B- mother stamper ? This is one of the earliest pressings of the original 1968 UK stereo 1st press issue of this album.
  All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!!    All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!   UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 kg.

Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to 2kg weight restrictions.
