Description
Verve MGV 8379, Black and silver label, Verve pressing. Orchestra arranged and conducted by Russ Garcia. Orchestra includes strings. Clear, authentic Getz autograph on the back cover. No personnel identified. Tunes are mainly standards. Includes Golson's "Whisper Not". There is a tiny tear on the edge of 1 label on the record. It does not interfere with the text on the label.
Cover: VG+ Intact with minor edge and corner wear. 4 small scuff marks near the top edge of the front cover. There is a similar mark at the bottom edge of the front cover. Light record ring on the back cover. Light crease on the front cover near the bottom edge and spine. The record is most notable for Getz signature.
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface. It has an unplayed appearance. There are a few extremely light clicks, barely audible. 1 or 2 are more audible. For this small amount of noise I have give the overall rating a partial VG++, however, in general the record plays closer to Mint(-). Audibly checked.
