Description

Vintage vinyl record album, from a well cared-for Jazz collection (more to follow soon):

GETZ / GILBERTO

Stan Getz and Joao Gilberto, featuring Antonio Carlos Jobim and Astrud Gilberto.

“America’s Top Jazz Tenor Joins Brazil’s Great Young Singer in the Most Exciting Album of the Year”

Verve V-8545, Mono

(V 8545 63VG 160 RE 3 imprint side 1, V-8545 S-2 63-VG-161 RE-2 F.G. imprint side 2).

  • The vinyl is glossy, with some scuff marks and faint surface scratches — no skips. We listened to this album and both sides played smoothly, with some popping. The original inner sleeve is missing, and the vinyl is now in a brand new round-bottom inner sleeve.
  • The outer sleeve is clean and glossy, with no ink marks or seam splitting. The corners have slight bump marks, with some minor edge dings. Faint record imprint visible on the back, with slight plastic peeling on the left opening edge.

An attractive and very listenable record.
