Description
Stan Levey This Time The Drum's On Me mono Bethlehem BCP 37 Deep Groove Maroon label
Dexter Gordon (ts), Conti Candoli (t), Frank Rosolino (tb) Lou Levy (p), Leroy Vinnegar (b), Stan Levey (d) Recorded 1955
Maroon label with leaves and deep groove both sides. New York address on back.
The record looks and plays VG to VG+. Plays mostly VG+ but VG on quiet parts. Both sides have scuffs and small scratches. Spindle marks on both labels. No deep heavy or repetitive scratches. Record plays with light to moderate surface noise. Music plays strongly and enjoyably without distortion above the noise. Grooves show some wear but not damage.
The cover is VG++.
The front cover is bright and glossy with little or no wear. The back cover has light to moderate wear. No split seams but bottom has app 1/4 inch of heavy wear at the pocket. Spots of wear and minor denting at the corners, Spine is tight and intact except for one small spot app 1/4 inch where the slick is worn away.
Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on cover.
My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied. No hassles.
