Description
For sale Stanley Brothers John’s Country Quartet Wango 104 produced by Ray Davis.
This was recorded in 1964 at Johnny’s Used Cars 4801 Harford Road, Baltimore Maryland.
These albums were sold in white album covers and could be purchased through the mail. They are fairly rare. The Wango recordings were later re-released entitled “Stanley Brothers of Virginia”.
The original Wango recordings were Wango 103, 104, 105, and 106.
Musicians were as follows:
Carter Stanley – Guitar- Lead Vocals Ralph Stanley – Banjo – Tenor Vocals George Shuffler – Lead Guitar – Baritone Vocals
The record is in very good condition with a few minor surface scratches.
