Description
Stanley Recording Co Radio Transcription, ca 1931. The Tastyeast Jesters, Program 138, parts 1 & 3. The group is actually the "Jesters" who were Walter Carlson, Dwight "Red" Latham and Guy Bonham. This disc has the program open and close. The Jesters sing a catchy jingle for Tastyeast candy bars (sounds kinda gross to me). Early radio transcriptions such as this are quite scarce. The record grades E- with a few scuffs and scratches and some foreign matter in the grooves of side 2, and plays very well. I am slowly starting to pull radio material from my collection to sell, so watch for more!
