Stanley Turrentine & Shirley Scott - Lot of 3 Original 1960's LP's
1. Blue Flames (Transatlantic PR 7338 UK LP 1967) UK original pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve. It comes with a polythene lined inner sleeve. The record has 1st press A1/ B1 matrices. Sleeve: Mild fading to the rear & mild ringwear. VG+ condition. Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, & some mild pressing marks. VG condition. The labels are very clean & show very mild spindle wear. Plays VG+ to Near Ex overall.
2. Common Touch (Blue Note BST 84315 USA LP 1968) USA original pressing. It has a matt sleeve & comes with a polythene-lined inner sleeve. It has 1st press A/ B matrices. "Van Gelder" is stamped in the dead wax on both sides. Sleeve: There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear, & ringwear, in places. There are no seam splits. VG condition. Vinyl: Light to mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. There are some mild to more moderate pressing marks. VG condition. The labels are very clean & show no spindle wear. Plays VG+ to Near EX overall.
3. Shirley Scott & The Soul Saxes (Atlantic SD 1532 USA LP 1969) USA original pressing. It has a front laminated sleeve & comes with its original "Atlantic" paper inner sleeve. Sleeve: Very mild wear only. EX condition. Vinyl: Light sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, & some mild to more moderate pressing marks. There is a very mild warp too. It does not affect play. VG+ condition. The labels are very clean & show minimal spindle wear. Plays Excellent overall.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
