Description
Original UK promotional pressing of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier - Music From The Original Paramount Motion Picture Soundtrack, composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith and released in 1989 on Epic/CBS Records. The rear sleeve carries the "Demonstration Only Not For Sale" marking confirming this as a promotional copy issued to radio or press ahead of commercial distribution. Vinyl is graded EX with clean labels and strong gloss, showing only light surface marks under bright light. The record is housed in the original picture sleeve graded VG+ with light edge and corner wear visible. Matrices read A1 and B1 indicating an early first pressing. The soundtrack accompanies the fifth Star Trek film starring William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy and features orchestral compositions by Goldsmith including variations on the famous Star Trek fanfare originally written by Alexander Courage.
