Description
On April 10, 1979, Bulgaria became the sixth country to send a person to the cosmos, after the USSR, the US, Czechoslovakia, Poland and the GDR.
On April 10 at 20.34 am Moscow time at the Baikonur spaceport was launched the spacecraft Soyuz-33, piloted by the USSR flight cosmonaut Nikolay Rukavishnikov and the Bulgarian cosmonaut researcher Major Georgi Ivanov. An interesting memory of this epochal event is the "Star brothers", published by Balkanton in honor of the first Bulgarian cosmonaut. The first part of the documentary composition contains documentary recordings from the Bulgarian radio stations as well as from the place of the launch and from the space.
