Hip-Hop - Dance - Rock - Jazz - Soul - ExoticaA real gem for you here, Startcrost's self titled LP on the Fable label. You probably already know the record - it is jazz-funk-rock-fusion at its finest - an amazing listen from start to finish.. hard charging drums, nice horns, funky bass, & amazing female vocals (on the non-instro tracks).
I will go right in to the condition on this one.
PLEASE read carefully what I say about any defects on this album - I will be completely open about listing them and you will know what you are getting.
Jacket - Some light pinkish ring wear occuring on front top and a tiny bit on the bottom. There is a bit of corner wear especially on the bottom corners. There is a very tiny tear spot on the bottom right above that corner. There is some wear along the spine as seen in pics and this is also on the top edge also. Back of jacket is nice. Along the album insert edge is a bit of slight fading/spotting. There are no split seems and as you can see from the pics, the overall appearance of the front and back are rather nice. I would call this VG+ because overall it looks great and the defects are minor. If you are a very discerning collector, then you might want to consider this a strong VG.
Vinyl - VG+ clean, and as you can see in the pic enough gloss to see reflections in the vinyl. There is some light paper scuffing that has occurred. There is a very light hairline scratch on the first track that does not affect play.
I did play test this record. The fidelity of this record is amazing for a small left field pressing such as this. It sounds terrific. There is very very faint background noise on track 1 of side 1 for maybe 45 seconds. It's fairly hard to hear unless you are looking for it. On Side 2 there is a tiny hint of background static as well for 10-15 seconds at the start of the track then subsiding.
A Final note - bid with confidence, like any record we sell if you are not satisifed with it you can return it and we'll give you your money back. We sell records for a living and our reputation is very important to us.
