STARGAZER - SHELAGH MCDONALD - ORIGINAL VINYL LP
Often compared to the great Sandy Denny this album will be well known to the many fans of Shelagh McDonald. Recorded in the 1970's this album showcased her talents as singer, writer and arranger. One of only two albums she recorded in this period it has always been considered her best. She disappeared 'mysteriously' in the early 1970's and I will not speculate as to the reasons. She is now back and appearing live to rave reviews.
I acquired this album in the 1970's and it has been stored safely since then. It is the B&C pressing with code CAS 1043. I am not a vinyl specialist but this is the original issue. I won't list the tracks as all lovers of Shelagh McDonald will know them.
The condition of the album is good but not mint and without doubt there will be scratches. When I first got this all those years ago I played it a lot. The record could also do with a good wipe but it has been kept damp and dust free all these years. The inner sleeve (plastic lined) is torn back from the centre by about one inch. The sleeve is unmarked and not clipped or cut. Please note that the spine and edges of the sleeve have become worn so that the blue of the cover has been (mostly) rubbed away on those edges. The matt surface of the sleeve also displays some pressure marks and scuffing. Even when new this was apparent due to the sleeve design. I can provide extra pictures if anyone requires them. The record is sold as seen and with no return. If you wish to ask me any further questions please do.
The record will be securely packed for shipping and sent as recorded delivery.
