Description
Released by Stax in 1969, cat # STAX 124; this is “Just Because Your Love Is Gone” / “I’m The One Who Loves You” by Darrell Banks.
Both labels have a mark/slight damage in the same place on each label. I would imagine that some sort of label was previously attached to the record for some reason. There is a slight ring-mark on the B-side label. The label centres are only lightly marked with spindle marks.
Both playing surfaces are unmarked and are in at least excellent condition. The record comes in a purple Stax sleeve.
All of these singles come from the same special source – an original 60’s Top Rank DJ who started in the ballrooms and progressed to radio and record production in the 1970’s. The majority of the collection is mint or unplayed! All of these are one-offs, no duplicates so miss them at your peril! For the full story on the collection, please see our “me” page.
