You are bidding for a rare original first pressing edition of "Mountains" by Steamhammer
Steamhammer were a progressive hard-rock band of the late 60's early 70's who made some cracking albums, These are now rare and sought after. This was bought by myself on release, so I know it's a gen first issue.
Before I begin, please note I'm not a record dealer.!! I’m moving house and have decided that I will sell my record collection that has been sitting in a cabinet doing nothing for the last 40 years !!! I've replaced all my collection electronically, so I'm letting my collection go to those who will collect it and value it more than I do. I give as honest an opinion of the record/condition as I can in simple terms
Most of the albums that I have are first editions, ie I bought them as soon as they were released. That said, if you require any other info to clarify their autenticity, please ask !! I bought this album, in 1970 on release, and to sit 10 yards away from Martin Pugh's Marshall stack when he was playing the searing solo on "I wouldn't have thought"... (the first track on the album), was an unforgettable experience for your ear drums I can promise you !!!

Hopefully I’ve listed all the necessary information below however if you have any questions or queries please ask.
- I would rate the condition of this album as excellent.. The vinyl is not warped and is in clean condition.
- The RIM Matrix info is SIDE 1 is CAS 1024 A-1U, and SIDE 2 is CAS 1024 B-1U. The fact that I bought this record in 1970 would seem to prove that it was an original first pressing - unless of course, you know differently !
- The labels on both sides are in perfect condition, with no spindle marking. The inner sleeve is still the original and is in good order, except for a small tear on the crease edge where the disc has cut through the paper..
- Record looks in excellent condition No scratching that I can see with the naked eye.
- The sleeve is in brilliant condition....much better than some look from their photos on ebay ! There are some light scuffs and wear marks on the outer edge and corners, but otherwise it is very clean. The spine is pretty much unmarked.Other than that, it's in great condition.
- As I said, I'm not an expert on record conditioning, but looking at what else is on offer on Ebay, this one looks good !! As a 100% ebayer, I always try to be objectively truthful and honest in all descriptions. I will send out by the best value I can get for the postage charged, and will securely wrap. I will always get proof of postage. but If you want special next day delivery, I'm happy to agree that with you before you send me the payment. The choice is yours !
