Condition Description & Other Information ## BEYOND AMAZING GUITAR BLUES/PROG ROCK ## Steamhammer was a blues-rock band from Worthing, England, whose origins began with the blues. The band was founded in 1968 by Martin Quittenton. During the course of several line-up changes on, the band became more progressive and difficult to classify, first when joined by multi-instrumentalist Steve Jolliffe on their second album, and even more so when bassist Louis Cennamo replaced Davy for the final LP, "Speech" - which was more experimental progressive involving extended instrumentals. ## The Vinyl is described as Excellent & was fully play-tested this morning playing with an exceptional sound, very minor background & no skips or stops. Several spindle marks to both labels. A reasonable number of fine hairlines & sleeve marks to both sides of the record. Track 5 Side 2 has a barely feelable 1cm line which plays without any effect on sound quality... maybe 1 or 2 clicks but I never them. The Vinyl has retained much of its rich waxy lustre. The Gatefold Cover is very conservatively described as VG+ but in all reality is Excellent. There is some visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is some minor ring wear to front & verso. There are some colour losses to edges & spine. One 4cm seam split to top verso edge.  Please see attached photos...
