Steel Mill Green Eyed God LP Penny Farthing WLP Canada Original 1975 RARE PROG

Absolute classic from the golden era of British underground Progressive rock. Thankfully a million miles away from Dream Theatre and all that stuff they call 'Prog' these days!
Here is the almost mythical Canadian version, which was licensed at the same time as the UK pressing was finally released in 1975. For some strange reason the album was recorded for British label Penny Farthing in late 1970 but wasn't actually released in the UK until 1975. It came out in Germany before anywhere else in 1971. The German, UK and Canadian pressings are the only ones known to exist from that period. Here is a white label promo of the Canadian edition - I've never seen a finished copy of a Canadian press and the few promo copies I have seen always have the neat punchole. Did it ever get past the promo stage to a proper commercial release?
Anyway, a nice one to own if you haven't got £1,000+ to spend on a mint UK original.

Non-laminated paste on single sleeve VG. Has the promo cutout hole and a bit of edgewear that appears to have been a little touched up with green felt pen.
Vinyl Excellent Visually, though just like the UK version, it's not the best pressing. Some light surface noise here and there.

Please note, I always remove records from main sleeve when packing to avoid seam splits during trasportation, unless the record is still sealed. I will happilly open the seal carefully at sellers request to remove from sleeve if desired. I use cruciform LP mailers (NOT envelopes) with multiple stiffeners for added safety. I have also started using corner protectors too :-)
