Named after the area of Birmingham from where the group hailed, Steel Pulse’s ‘Handsworth Revolution’ is today widely regarded as the greatest reggae album ever recorded by a British act.
The LP, which saw first issue in 1978, features the hard-hitting UK hits, ‘Ku Klux Klan’ and ‘Prodigal Son’, plus half a dozen superior sides, including such celebrated classics as ‘Prediction’, ‘Sound Check’ and ‘Macka Splaff’.
Now, at long last, this pivotal collection is at long last available once more in the vinyl format for which it was created, with all the original artwork features, such as the gatefold cover, faithfully and lovingly reproduced.
