Description
Steely Dan - AJA - RARE PERUVIAN 1977 IMPORT Vinyl Record VG/F.
Very interesting and rare pressing of this classic album. Not the best player copy, but definitely a worthy include for any Steely Dan collector. Jacket is fairly clean, with a beautiful glossy finish - reminds me of original UK Beatles pressings, minus the flipbacks. There are definite signs of wear and several marks, but strong seams and spine. Unlike the US pressings, this is a single sleeve and not a gatefold.
Track A1 has a lot of surface noise and pops/scratches up until the first chorus, as well as a 1 skip, but the rest of side A plays at VG-, still with some scratching and popping but much less. Track B1 has loud popping throughout the first half, but the rest of side B plays at VG, with the surface noise not overpowering the music.
Play tested on my Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Evo with a Sumiko Rainier Phono Cartridge, so audio quality and grading may differ on your setup.
Disc has been wet cleaned, play tested, and visually inspected and ships in a Mofi anti static inner sleeve. Please contact me with any questions. Buy with confidence!
