Stunning NM presentation of Steely Dan's AJA from an early promo pressing with the coveted AB-1006 designation.   These were the earliest pressings and considered the best sounding.    Shortly after release the lettering was changed to AA-1006 and those are considered inferior.   This is a promo copy, guaranteeing it was pressed with fresh stampers.  PROMOS are super hard to find and are not even listed in Discogs.   Vinyl has no sign of play.   No hairlines.  No spindle marks.  Cover is VG+ with Demonstration stamp and no seam splits.  One corner compression.   Front is nice and decent spine.  Back has some moderate ringwear at the top of back cover and a scratch.   See pics for closer look.   

Shipped securely in premium record mailer (Mighty Music Mailers) with corner protection to ensure safe arrival to your home.  All used records will be placed outside of jacket in an archival, non-paper sleeve to protect cover seams.  All covers will be placed in outer sleeve.    All used records are cleaned on my state-of-the-art Degritter 2 record cleaning machine.

New/Sealed

Jacket sealed in shrink wrap; Record unplayed.  Disc sold ungraded or "as is".

NM

Under bright light, appears unplayed or only played with great care and looks quite pristine/like new.   Only the very finest examples make this grade.

EX

Under bright light, may have one or two slight, but visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint ‘hairline’ scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play.  Overall, very clean.   May play as good as a Near Mint record, but visibly has minor imperfections.

VG+

Several visible imperfections. Has seen more wear and play than the higher grades, but still overall a very nice record. May have a few more sleeve scuffs or light unfeel-able scratches, or other superficial marks than an EX-graded record.

VG

VG will show signs of improper care or frequent play and handling, and will possibly have some deeper, feel-able scratch(es) that may make audible noise upon playback.  Generally meant to be either a starter copy or purchased to get a sense of sound quality of a particular pressing.
