VG+ This is an Original 1977 Pressing. Steely Dan Aja LP Vinyl 12" 33 RPM Black Record Album Jazz Rock 1970s.
Experience the pinnacle of studio perfection with Steely Dan's Aja, a 1977 masterpiece that redefined the boundaries of jazz-rock fusion. Often cited as the ultimate audiophile reference recording, this album is a "sonic sculpture" where every track is polished to a high-gloss finish by the meticulous production of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker.

Winner of the 1978 Grammy for Best Engineered Recording, Aja is legendary for its pristine sound quality, making it a "must-have" for testing high-end audio equipment.

The duo enlisted nearly 40 world-class session players, including jazz legends like Wayne Shorter and drumming icon Steve Gadd, to achieve their exacting musical vision.

Features the timeless hits "Peg," "Deacon Blues," and "Josie," alongside the sprawling, 8-minute title track that stands as a landmark of sophisticated pop.
As Steely Dan's best-selling album, it has been preserved in the National Recording Registry and ranked among Rolling Stone’s "500 Greatest Albums of All Time".
