Description
From my PERSONAL Collection - bought used - and just played on my new Denon turntable.
I rate/price LPs on sound mostly - then cover, inserts, LP sleeve, etc. I care about the sound the most.
I'll be listing my entire LP Collection, including Quad (about 60 left), as I record them. Look out for new listings.
Some very rare ones indeed!
Experience the timeless rock music of Steely Dan with this rare quadrophonic LP "Can't Buy a Thrill" - Command Quadrophonic.
Original 1974 US release on ABC RECORDS STEELY DAN "Can't Buy A Thrill" CQD-40009 This is a QUADRAPHONIC pressing: Command Quad
Vinyl: VG - Both sides - look good, but with some marks that don't affect sound. Cover: VG - a couple stickers and markings on top front - see photos. LP Sleeve: Original LP sleeve - VG. Notes on sound below:
Side #1: Some surface noise throughout, mostly during quiet passages and in-between tracks - with some pops and clicks too - you need to listen very hard to hear anything but the music during the tracks. Side #2: A bit more surface noise than side #1. A very light pop or two here and there, mainly in-between tracks or during very quiet sections.
This baby could use a better cleaning and/or some click/pop software to clean it up.
LP has been cleaned, play tested, sleeved and protected in an outer sleeve. I pack carefully and ship in a new or used, but in good shape, LP mailer with the LPs outside the original cover.
The LP plays through fine - NO SKIPS!
These results are on my equipment. You may or may not hear the same.
I deal on multiple LPs - contact me.
I also combine shipping - $1 additional per LP, added to the highest shipping in the group.
