What a GREAT band that made so many GREAT LPs via the collaborative song-writing talents of Donald Fagan and Walter Becker!!!

In this auction:

• “STEELY DAN/GREATEST HITS” LP by Steely Dan

• Printing on the rear cover states “STEELY DAN/GREATEST HITS 1972 – 1978”.

• This LP is ABC Records 2022-1107.

• It was released in 1978.

• This LP was manufactured and distributed by Fabrique ET Distribue Par/ GRT of Canada Ltd. in Ontario, Canada.

• While there was NO U.S. pressing of this LP on colored vinyl, this Canadian Import LP on Gold Vinyl was widely available for sale in the U.S. when issued in 1978.

• It is a DOUBLE VINYL PRESSING that was issued in a GATE-FOLD COVER.

• It has TWO BEAUTIFUL GOLD TRANSLUCENT VINYL DISCS.

• It was issued as a LIMITED EDITION PRESSING.

• Check out the track listing on the cover and you’ll see that this double-vinyl LP really does contain an EXCELLENT COLLECTION of Steely Dan’s GREATEST HITS!!!

• In terms of condition, BOTH TRANSLUCENT GOLD VINYL DISCS ARE IN NICE VG+ CONDITION with several very light/slight surface hairlines/scuffs (none are “feel-able”).

• THE GATE-FOLD COVER IS IN WEAK VG to VG- (VG MINUS) CONDITION. The front and rear covers have moderate ring-wear. The front cover has some stains and sticker residue in the light-colored top center area. There are some light stains at the top inside the gate-fold cover that seem to have come from the stains at the top of the front cover. There are also a few small tears on the front cover in the light-colored area at the top as well. (Please refer to images.) There is moderate wear on the spine and some slight creases near the spine and near the bottom edge as well as a small diagonal crease on the bottom right corner. The 2 bottom corners have heavy wear and the top corners have moderate to heavy wear. There are NO SEAM SPLITS and NO WRITING on the cover.

• This LP was issued with TWO CUSTOM PHOTO INNER SLEEVES made of glossy poster-board which are included. They are typically in VG to Weak VG+ Condition. They have light disc impression (not ring-wear) and some small creases primarily on the edges. One inner sleeve has 1 & ½ -inch split in the middle of the bottom edge.
