Steely Dan "Katy Lied"
This is a US vinyl pressing on Mobile Fidelity MFSL-1-007 from 1979. This album was originally released in 1975. It has their hit single : 'Black Friday'. It comes with 2 small stickers that were on the shrink wrap and a June 1980 MFSL catolog page.
Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ / Record is M-
The cover is VG+ with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits. There is light scuffs on the front cover and seam wear on bottom and left edges. There are a few minor bends along the mouth. The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint. There are a couple light paper marks that do not effect play at all. The labels are clean with light spindle marks. The record comes in a clear plastic inner sleeve, which is in the MFSL cardboard folder
The songs are : Black Friday, Bad Sneakers, Rose Darling, Daddy Don't Live In That New York City No More, Doctor Wu, Everyone's Gone To The Movies, Your Gold Teeth II, Chain Lightning, Any World, and Throw Back The Little Ones.
About Me :
I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. One sheet is 5/8 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard. The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic album sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
Postage : Weight : 1 pound 9 ounces
You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office changes. There are no handling charges. This record will weigh 25 ounces ( 1 pound, 9 ounces ) when ready to ship. US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail. All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and a email with the tracking number. Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International. I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number. ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. ) I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record. Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
