Description
For sale is Stephen Bishop's Bowling In Paris, originally released by Atlantic Records in 1989, made in Germany and imported into the U.S. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks are the matrix numbers 1-A/1-B, indicating that an early stamper was used to make this first pressing. This is a hallmark of superior sound quality from state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing, highly sought after by collectors and music lovers. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This preserves the integrity of the vinyl as well as any original insert(s) or inner sleeve(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is Near Mint. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint. The cover is graded as Excellent because of corner rubs and minor stress cracks along the edges. The spine is Near Mint. This is the best copy of this hard to find record that I have ever seen and you would be hard pressed to find one like this one ever again. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life left to it yet. This would make a great addition to a anyone's collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
