Description

French Disko 7” Signed by Tim And Laetitia!

Super-Rare (Limited Edition of 1500 copies) Stereolab ‘French Disko/Jenny Ondioline’ 7” single D-UHF-D03 singed by both Tim (Gane) and Laetitia (Sadier) in 1996.

Autographs are lovely and read as follows:

In Tim’s excited hand:

“We have lift off! Simon, Take Care, Tim “Feedback Steering”… (with a doodle by Tim of a spaceman with buzzing antennae, he’s so cute!).

And in Laetitia’s fair gallic scrawl:

“Hey, I BAN SOMETHING, Laetitia!” (the precise meaning of which has always eluded me, but sounds gloriously pouty and slightly foot-stamping, which the girl so obviously is!).

Signed in 1996 at a press interview.

As far as condition, the cover and disc are Absolutely Mint. I committed each side to tape when I first got it because the versions of both songs are different to the EP/LP versions, but that is it, one very careful play of each side. Otherwise it has been languishing in Safe-As-The-Bank-Of-England type security in a plastic sleeve at the back of my wardrobe, and shown-off to suitably-impressed fellow fans at occasional intervals :)

£2.50 by Insured/Recorded First Class postage (to be signed for on arrival).

Outside UK:

£2.00 to anywhere in the world by Airmail (uninsured).

Full Insurance for items leaving the UK is available for an additional £3.00 (international Signed-For or Air-Sure Service, depending on destination) and will require a signature on receipt of the item for maximum security.

Important Note:

Though the probability that items will be lost in the post is exceedingly small I do have to state that I cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for Uninsured items that are delayed or do not arrive, as (obviously) once the item is in the postal system I have no control over what happens to it. I will however always obtain a UK Post Office ‘Proof of Posting’ Certificate (an official stamped certificate stating date and destination of item sent) for Uninsured items to prove that the item has been posted, so should any problem arise you will at least have the peace of mind that the goods were dispatched as promised.

Payment:

Payment within the UK can be made by cheque, postal order or cash (by insured/registered postage only please). I do have to allow for cheques to clear before I can send an item.

Payment from outside the UK can be made by Paypal or by cash (UK Pounds Sterling or Euros only) by insured/registered postage only please.
