This is a strictly limited edition vinyl copy of the second installment of the Songs For Slim series, where artists pay tribute to Replacements guitarist Slim Dunlap by covering his songs. This split 7" 45 finds Steve Earle covering one of Slim's most-loved songs, "Times Like This," with an A-team of LA studio musicians. Craig Finn & Friends' version of "Isn't It?" features The Hold Steady's front-man making a great song come alive in a whole new way with a bevy of seasoned Minneapolis rockers.
