Description
For sale is a GREEN vinyl LP from Steve Hillage titled "Green". This is on the Virgin label and is a UK pressing on a brilliant Emerald Green vinyl. From 1978 on the Virgin Records label, catalogue number V2098. Steve Hillage is a former member of the British groups Gong, Clearlight Symphony, Khan as well as working with many other artists in other bands then he began recording solo projects. His crescendo-ing glissando guitar work is his trademark so to speak. The record itself is in excellent condition as I think I may not have ever played it as I also had a regular black vinyl pressing but got this one because it was on green vinyl. The outer jacket is in fairly clean condition with slight show around the edges of shelf contact and a round impression seen on the bottom portions of both front and back jacket covers. Spine is in pretty good clean readable condition. The clear plastic sleeve is in very good condition save for some folds that existed when I first bought it. The fold-out poster is in very good condition save for a few pin-prick marks at the top corners-see photo. The single lyric sheet is in very clean crisp condition. A great LP to add to one's collection of colored vinyl LP's as well as their Steve Hillage disc collection. Steve has had an illustrious career always with his unique sound and eco-friendly space hippy creativity! I've always been a fan of his!
