This is a rare find: the Dutch Capitol white-label test pressing of the 1977 Steve Miller Band Anthology double album. This comes from the private collection of an EMI producer's son and is very rare. Only a handful of these test pressings were made and even fewer have survived. The word Proefpersing (Dutch for test pressing) is stamped on both sleeves and it has handwritten information on both catalogue number (152 - 81312 and 152 - 81313) and record company (Capitol), as well as the name of the band on the sleeves. The first 8 pictures are from disc 1, the other 9 are from disc 2. The albums look and sound really nice, although there are some ticks but they do not skip. The sleeves look old, which is not surprising after nearly 50 years, and both have quite a number of holes due to silverfishes. See pictures of records and sleeves! I ship worldwide, and as I am a collector myself who hates it when my purchases are damaged when they are arrive, I only use new cardboard boxes and extra cardboard to protect the album from bending and the record is shipped in a new plastic sleeve.
