Description

Gathered together in one lot are all five colours of the  Incredible Expanding Mindfuck's EP issued in 1999 on Tone Float records in Holland.

There are 5 12" EPs in this lot (all containing the same music) i.e one of each of Red, Green, Yellow and Blue transluscent vinyl and one Black vinyl . This represents a complete set (only 100 of each coloiur were pressed).

An Escalator to Chrsitmas was the IEMs second release and found the project moving in a more experimental direction with sound collages reminiscent of Frank Zappa's Lumpy Gravy layered over spacey psychedelic improvisations. IEM recordings feature the most psychedelic music Steven Wilson has ever made.   

These records are from Richard Allen's personal collection. Richard ran Delerium and signed Porcupine Tree in the early 1990s managing them up until 2003.

An Escalator to Christmas is an EP by Steven Wilson's experimental space/krautrock side project, the Incredible Expanding Mindfuck. It was released on vinyl only as a limited edition of 500 copies in 5 different colours - yellow, blue, green, red and black.
