📝 Collector's Note

Released during Stevie Wonder's extraordinary run of 1970s albums, Innervisions found Wonder taking extraordinary creative control of his music. He wrote every song, produced and arranged the album, and played the overwhelming majority of the instruments himself.

The album combined deeply personal songwriting with social commentary, electronic experimentation, soul, funk and pop while producing enduring songs including “Higher Ground” and “Living for the City.”

It won Album of the Year at the 1974 Grammy Awards, helping establish Innervisions as one of the defining recordings of Wonder's career.

This copy stands out not because of artificial rarity claims, but because of its exceptional preservation. Finding the vinyl, elaborate gatefold and original custom inner sleeve together in condition this clean makes for a particularly attractive collector copy.
