Description
This is a somewhat rare copy of THE STONE PONEYS 1968 promo "So Fine" (Johnny Otis) with flipside "Everybody Has Their Own Ideas" (Bob Kimmel). It is a Promotional "NOT FOR SALE" white label in VG- condition (read below) with a GENERIC white sleeve.
Label: Sidewalk – 937
Format: Vinyl, 7", Single, Promo
Country: US
Released: 1968
Genre: Rock
Style: Folk Rock
This record has a number of issues, but overall is in decent condition. "So Fine" plays a grade G+ because of a number of cross-hatched hairlines, which result in four "hiccup" skips that are fairly quick in play range (1-2 seconds), but are spread over the track somewhat evenly. (Media looks VG/VG- though). There is also some minor distortion in the high range. Outer edge has a tiny chip, and a small "dent" in the rim.
"Everybody Has Their Own Ideas" plays a good bit better (mid VG) having a few faint hairlines (media looks VG+) which play through nicely, but there is some ocassional light distortion here as well. Small scratches in the dead wax.
Label on both sides are in very nice shape with no writing and only slight rub/wear.
As an average of these factors, we'd give this copy a combined media, visual, and play grade of VG- for the reasons above.
Front and back of the actual record is shown.
