Recently purchased, from a leftover 1930's dealer's

stock, is this lovely scroll label from the scarce

series Victor 23013.


Here is a group of all-stars, credited to Hoagy

Carmichael & His Orchestra and including Bix

Beiderbecke, Jack Teagarden, Jimmy Dorsey, Bud Freeman,

Joe Venuti, and Eddie Lang. They play two of Hoagy's

songs, "Georgia On My Mind" and "One Night In Havana."


Bix, Tea, and Venuti all have solos. Hoagy sings the

vocal on both sides.


Recorded in New York City on September 15, 1930, this

78rpm disc is in lovely excellent-plus (E+) condition.

It is in the original sleeve.
