Strauss: Also sprach Zarathustra (Thus Spake Zarathustra), Op.30, Fritz Reiner Conducts the Chicago Symphony

RCA LSC-1806

VG+/EX

All-Star Technical Personnel:  John Pfeiffer, Producer; Leslie Chase, Recording Engineer

This is the first RCA Shaded Dog Living Stereo Release.

Cover Condition is Very Good Plus (VG+).  The cover has some shelf wear and edge flaking and a 3" split on the top right by opening/1" split bottom by opening, crease along bottom, original RCA inner sleeve is in tatters.

Vinyl Condition is Excellent (EX) or just shy of Near Mint (NM).  Vinyl is shiny with a couple slight scuffs.  Surfaces are truly excellent but this record is very very slightly warped.  So slight it is hard to detect.  The labels show a little wear around the spindle hole.

Vinyl Play Evaluation:  This record plays with occasional light background noise audible in a few quiet passages. This is an excellent example of a stunning recording and pressing.

I use play grading to supplement the visual grade.  Playback varies by setup; I am using a Linn LP12/Ekos/Benz Glider high output cartridge.

You can listen below to a stream of an undoctored 128kbps audio sample of the complete album.

All Pictures are taken of the actual item for sale.

Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see more pictures.

Grading:  I follow the Goldmine Record Grading Standard (Cover/Vinyl) with the addition of EX to indicate something in between VG+ and NM. VG(+) is a low VG+. A VG+ record will not disappoint.

Condition is guaranteed.  I strive to be the kind of seller I'd buy from: knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Shipping:  Records are shipped in an oversized extra sturdy cardboard mailer, with cardboard sheets and other insulating padding.

US Shipping via Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation: $4.00 for the first LP, add $.75 for each additional LP.  I am always happy to combine orders!

International Shipping Available via USPS First Class International Package.  Cost varies a little by location.

I ship out within 2 business days of receiving payment.
