Strauss Prokofiev Violin Sonatas Ricci UK Decca LXT 2818

 

This rare recording features Ruggiero Ricci with Carlo Busotti playing the Violin “Sonata” of Richard Strauss, and the “Sonata No. 2” of Prokofiev. An English mono pressing on the Decca Label (LXT 2818 stampers 1B/1B), the labels are orange with gold lettering and this is a “pancake” pressing. The record has a few minor scuffs and small marks, and is of otherwise excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with some low-level surface noise. The cover has a small number pasted on the back and a date stamp but is in excellent condition.
