Description
This is the Reference Recordings "Reference Mastercuts" Half-Speed Mastered, 200-gram virgin vinyl. I purchased this album new and immediately professionally cleaned the LP playing sides using a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine with dedicated vinyl wash solution, vacuumed dry and de-magnetized (Yes!) using a Furutech "DeMag" device. As noted in the condition description, about 9/10s of the way through the Firebird Suite, there is a scratch in the vinyl that causes about 2 minutes of a cyclical tic that can be heard along with the music. Otherwise, this is a magnificent recording and "The Song of the Nightingale" is beautiful throughout. I have reduced the asking price to about one-half of what the other sellers have listed when the shipping is combined with the asking price.
